We have plans in place to ensure that we can continue to provide essential healthcare services during this pandemic. We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and following the recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and state Departments of Health. We want to share with you the actions we are taking to help protect our employees and patients.

We have activated our disaster plans and infection control procedures. We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced existing NuCara policy requiring employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. We have escalated our disinfecting and infection control procedures and infection control screenings to ensure a clean and safe environment.

  • NuCara Pharmacy and Home Medical locations are increasing our mail and delivery options. Some locations are also offering curb-side pick-up.
  • Any patient who has been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms such as cough, fever, and shortness of breath should CALL FIRST.
  • When possible, please utilize our automated phone systems, website, or mobile app to request prescription refills and allow our staff to help other patients. Contacting us in advance with your needs ensures we have adequate time to fulfill your request.
  • Practice patience and understanding as we all deal with this public health emergency.

Due to increased demand for some cleaning and personal protective products, we may be out of stock on some items. We are working closely with our vendors to add more stock whenever possible. We encourage you to call our stores to check product availability.
