Beau Harger, Pharm. D.
Beau Harger joined the NuCara team in Austin, in October, 2006. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Ole Miss pharmacy school in 1999. Since graduating from school, he's developed a passion for compounding pharmacy, as well as teaching others about the many aspects of pharmaceutical care. He taught pharmacology at William Carey College in Gulfport, MS for five years. An experienced practitioner, Beau previously started his own compounding practice in MS. His interests at NuCara include giving seminars to the general public on therapeutic solutions that can be found within compounding pharmacy.
Beau is the lead person for marketing and business development in Austin.

Shawn Roe, Pharm. D.
Shawn's rotation in the NuCara-Coralville pharmacy convinced him that compounding would be an important part of his career. Shawn's pharmacy experience dates back to 1998 when he became a registered technician. Since graduating from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy with a PharmD in June 2002, Shawn has been the Pharmacist in Charge at NuCara-Coralville.

Rex McKee, Pharmacist in Charge
Rex McKee, pharmacist and lecturer, graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 1970. He became a certified compounding pharmacist in 1990. He is currently the Pharmacist in Charge at the Waterloo location. Rex enjoys working with practitioners to solve patient medication problems. Areas of interest are hospice patients, bioidentical hormones, and chronic pain.

Bonnie Sadler, Vice President - Business Development 
Bonnie Sadler has earned a BS in marketing, received training at PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America) in Houston, Texas, and is trained as a compounding pharmacy technician. Bonnie calls on health care providers working to find solutions to medication challenges. She also mentors Jason, NuCara marketing representative. Bonnie works closely with our pharmacists, communicating the medication needs of practitioners and patients.
Jason Taffe, Marketing Representative
NuCara recently expanded its presence in the Midwest with the addition of Jason Taffe, who will oversee NuCara marketing in Chicago. A native of Minnesota, Jason attended college in IA and earned his BA from Buena Vista University. Jason trained in Iowa before moving to Chicago where he visits with health care professionals on enhancing their practice through compounded medications
Christian Von Drehle, Business Development
In 2009 NuCara expanded it's services in the Central Texas area to include home infusion in addition to customized sterile and non-sterile compounding. Christian will oversee the marketing and business development for the Austin location. Born in California, Christian grew up in Southwest Texas and later attended Texas A&M University where he earned his M.S. in Sport Management and a B.S. in Psychology. Every day Christian works with health care professionals to simplify the treatment options for their patients. Whether it is a compounded medication for warts or a critical therapy for a home infusion patient, he works with physicians both in and out of the hospital, case managers, social workers, and registered nurses to educate and facilitate positive outcomes.
